JOB TITLE:  Project Superintendent


REPORTS TO:  Vice President of Construction


JOB SUMMARY: The Superintendent is responsible for coordinating all site construction activities and supervising all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget.




  1. Act as TWG Construction, LLC. liaison to the owner, their representatives or advisors and is the first point of contact for addressing all project-related questions, clarifying and resolving project design issues, changes in scope of work, quality concerns or project delays.


  1. Holds project team and sub-contractors accountable for meeting performance standards and successfully delivering on project objectives.


  1. Manage day to day project activities and coordinate trades with the objective of maintaining the construction schedule to ensure on-time project completion.
    1. Communicate project manpower, coordination and material needs to all subcontractors, suppliers and management.
    2. Create and maintain delivery schedule; post on site where visible to all parties; inspect each delivery process for safe operation, audit deliveries with proper documentation.
    3. Create and maintain Two Week Look Ahead Schedules to be distributed to subcontractors, suppliers and team members.


  1. Communicate and monitor safe work practices and environment.
    1. Conduct jobsite safety orientations with all project team members on their first day of work on-site.
    2. Control all exterior site safety; including but not limited to all equipment, scaffolding, ROW permitting, debris zones, and surrounding traffic.
    3. Monitor and direct daily job site clean-up activities to ensure a safe work environment at all times.
    4. Monitor all project team members’ daily activities to ensure compliance with all G/C, OSHA, State safety regulations.
    5. Complete weekly site safety inspections


  1. Serve as on-site representative for communicating project requirements and changes for project success.
    1. Maintain up-to-date drawings and specifications.
      1. Confirm that all subcontractors are keeping up to date As-Built drawings.
    2. Schedule, manage and document weekly MEP coordination meetings.
    3. Schedule, manage, and organize weekly on-site superintendent/foreman meetings.
    4. Consult with Project Management and Design Teams to obtain required information, details and supplemental instructions via RFI, and distribute information to all project team members as needed.
    5. Ensure that all approved change order work is properly implemented into the project in a timely manner as specified and detailed within the change order documents.
